From switches to digital display units, we are able to provide a comprehensive range of built-in devices for our mosaic grids. They are connected with our own high-density connector system.

Advantages:

- Neat layout of leads and cables
- Strain-relief connections

Switches and pushbuttons for auxiliary power circuits

Discrepancy control and indication switches, discrepancy switches, rotary switches, spring return switches, illuminated pushbuttons and illuminated pushbutton switches are of very small dimensions and are suitable for mounting in mosaic-type panels as well as in control panels and control consoles with front plates of 1.5 mm to 5 mm thickness.

  • Enclosed design
  • Shock protection
  • Protection against solid bodies
  • Protection against moisture
  • Especially suitable for use in locations where open-type switch elements cannot normally be installed due to the danger of contact oxidation or contamination
  • Especially suitable for use in electronic control applications
  • Low contact resistance

Semaphore indicator

Semaphore indicators are used in situations that require visual simulation of the circuit or operating state of a device and indication of the fault position in addition to the ON and OFF positions. Semaphore indicators are particularly suitable for monitoring power breakers and disconnectors in complex transformer substations which are represented in the form of a mimic diagram of relatively small dimensions. Semaphore indicators are also used for monitoring slides, valves, etc. in supervisory flow diagrams.

  • Control electronics are the main components of the semaphore indicator
  • Precision d.c. motor
  • Mechanism ensures that the semaphore precisely holds the defined position
  • Robust plastic case
  • Completely wired up and supplied with a three-core cable of 2.2 m length with plug connector

Eyeball indicator KM

Eyeball indicators are preferably used in situations that require visual simulation of the circuit or operating state of a device and indication of the fault position in addition to the ON and OFF positions. Eyeball indicators are particularly suitable for monitoring busbars and line disconnectors in complex transformer substations that are represented in the form of a mimic diagram of relatively small dimensions.

  • Visual simulation of the circuit or operating state
  • Space saving design
  • Used by the chemical industry for monitoring  valves and slides
  • Electromagnetic drive
  • Rotatable ball in the housing
  • Simple spring system at zero current

As the eyeball indicator can be installed at the nodal point of the busbars, the mounting space can be reduced considerably. This space saving advantage increases even further with the number of busbars used in the system. Eyeball indicators are also used by the chemical industry, for example, to monitor valves and slides in supervisory flow diagrams.

The eyeball indicator has an electromagnetic drive which upon activation of the ON or OFF coil turns the rotating ball in the front of the housing by approximately 90 degrees to the right or left. At zero current, a simple spring system holds the ball in the exact center position.

Cables with connector / terminal blocks

Mosaic-type control and annunciator panels and control consoles with mosaic-type desks have plug-in cable connections to allow easy modification in the mimic diagram surrounding even if the components are active. The control and annunciator devices are therefore equipped with individual multicore cables and multipole connectors that are attached to solder/plug-in or push-on/push-on plug distributors.

  • Active components are factory-wired and -tested
  • Cabling and testing at installation is no longer required
